Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our school’s financial framework, requiring a professional who can manage daily accounting operations, support budgeting processes, and ensure strict compliance with MOHRE financial regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and monitoring school-specific financial systems for management review. We are looking for a bilingual professional (Arabic & English) with a strong background in education sector finance who thrives in an academic environment. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations and maintain precise financial records to support the school’s sales and enrollment cycles.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, quarterly budgets, and forecasts in line with UAE academic standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with MOHRE financial regulations and school-specific governance guidelines.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding faculty payroll, benefits accounting, and attendance tracking.
  • Utilize Information Technology tools and specialized school management software to monitor financial health.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an Accountant, ideally within a school or education environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MOHRE financial regulations, IFRS, and school budgeting principles.
  • Strong background in management of financial systems and reporting software.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory for professional communication and documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with engineering and facility teams for campus maintenance budgets and capital expenditure tracking.
