Job Description:

The Accountant will manage daily financial accounting transactions, ensure strict UAE VAT compliance, and support audit operations. Based in Dubai, this detail-oriented finance professional will handle AP/AR tasks, conduct bank reconciliations, process invoices, prepare regular financial statements, and maintain accurate ledger records within the construction environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, process payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with VAT filings and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience; prior background in construction contracting is preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, filings, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized ERP or accounting software systems.
• Strong abilities in financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and audit support.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
