Job Description:
Metaform Industries LLC is looking to hire a dedicated and detail-focused Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts department in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the core accounting operations that drive our industrial projects. This role involves managing the full accounting cycle—from general ledger maintenance to VAT compliance—ensuring that every financial transaction is recorded with total precision. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with experience in a manufacturing environment, capable of coordinating with multiple departments to maintain efficient financial workflows. We are looking for an individual who excels in a fast-paced setting and is committed to upholding the highest standards of financial reporting and internal control.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the general ledger, journals, and all core accounting records for industrial operations.
- Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including bank and supplier reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Management review.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and maintain meticulous records for tax filing.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to verify payroll accounting and employee expense documentation.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to gather financial data and monitor project-based expenses.
- Utilize Oracle or advanced Information Technology systems for accurate data entry and financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing validated financial data and documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of professional accounting experience; prior experience in the UAE is highly preferred.
- Proven knowledge of UAE VAT laws and general financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems; hands-on experience with Oracle is a significant advantage.
- Strong MS Excel skills with the ability to generate complex financial reports and variance analyses.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage strict month-end and year-end deadlines.
- Professional communication skills in English to interact with diverse internal teams.
