Job Description:
Private Family Office is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance operations team in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this accounting professional will oversee general ledger maintenance, perform monthly bank reconciliations, process payables and receivables, manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, assist with cash flow monitoring and budgeting, and maintain strict financial confidentiality.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and financial reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders when required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification or CPA Graduate status is required.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in financial reporting, ledger management, and reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and advanced Microsoft Excel routines.
- In-depth technical knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, financial analysis, and audit support.
- High level of integrity, discretion, analytical skills, and attention to detail; prior experience within a family office, investment firm, or hospitality environment is preferred.
