Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-focused and experienced Accountant to join our team in the UAE. This role is fundamental to our financial framework, requiring a professional who excels in a project-driven environment and is passionate about accuracy. You will be responsible for handling daily accounting activities, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring full compliance with UAE financial regulations for management review. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of VAT return filings. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting activities and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the UAE.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial reports, statements, and supporting documentation for management.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding payroll processing, audit requirements, and staff expense reimbursements.
- Track company expenses, monitor project budgets, and highlight any variances to senior management.
- Utilize digital Information Technology and accounting software to assist with VAT return filings and audits.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably within the UAE construction or lighting sector.
- Strong background in management of financial reports, AR/AP processes, and budget monitoring.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE financial laws, VAT regulations, and MS Excel.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities for the fast-paced project environment.
- Proficiency in accounting Information Technology and project-based financial tracking.
