Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with specific UAE experience in the F&B sector to join our Dubai operations. This role is fundamental to our financial framework, requiring a professional who can manage daily POS reconciliations, aggregator settlements (Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, Noon), and VAT reporting for management review. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, monitoring inventory, and implementing cost control measures across multiple outlets. We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of F&B accounting software and UAE compliance regulations. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily sales and POS reconciliation for multiple F&B outlets in Dubai.
- Reconcile bank statements and payment gateway transactions from aggregator platforms like Talabat and Deliveroo for management oversight.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding payroll processing, staff expense claims, and administrative financial protocols.
- Prepare accurate VAT reports and monthly P&L statements in compliance with UAE FTA regulations.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to monitor inventory levels and implement effective cost control measures.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant academic discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience specifically within the UAE F&B or hospitality accounting sector.
- Strong background in management of POS systems, cash/card settlements, and aggregator platform reconciliations.
- Professional background in education or training regarding VAT filing, UAE compliance, and advanced Excel reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple financial processes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Proficiency in Information Technology and modern accounting software.
