Job Description:

We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core financial controls branch and are seeking an experienced, operationally authoritative Accountant to govern freight ledger pipelines and direct cargo costing pathways in Dubai. Configured for systematic administrative solutions architects who possess an advanced analytical command of transactional reconciliation and excel at balancing multi-tier supply chain expenses within fast-moving transit timelines, this full-time track focuses on accelerating invoice processing velocities, auditing expenditure data queues, and maximizing fiscal compliance across our integrated global networks.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Govern and balance general accounting pipelines, overseeing comprehensive end-to-end processing across Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare structured commercial invoices, compile official payment vouchers, and generate detailed corporate financial performance reports.
  • Perform meticulous multi-currency bank statement reconciliations and continuously monitor localized corporate cash flow positions.
  • Reconcile complex customer and supplier account statements, systematically isolating and resolving invoice variances and ledger discrepancies.
  • Process specialized freight-related billing streams, marine cargo cost allocations, demurrage adjustments, and fuel surcharge balancing matrices.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal logistics operations, carrier pricing desks, and customer service teams regarding shipment margins and invoice generation.
  • Ensure total organizational compliance with statutory UAE accounting frameworks, federal corporate laws, and internal financial policies.
  • Assist directly in executing month-end and year-end closing activities, completing journal adjustments, and preparing trial balance audits.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related financial discipline from an accredited university, cultivating an advanced conceptual command of general ledger accounting, cost management principles, and mathematical risk analysis.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of verified, high-performance professional history operating an accounting desk or managing corporate ledgers within the UAE, demonstrating highly preferred experience handling shipping line logistics, transport documentation, or freight forwarding cost sheets. Must possess immediate baseline readiness for full-time on-site workspace execution in Dubai.
  • Advanced technical workspace data literacy with sharp capabilities generating complex pivot tables, formatting margin tracking sheets, and organizing financial records inside Microsoft Excel databases.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
    • Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management loops, matching rules, tracking records, and aging analysis.
    • Freight forwarding operations frameworks, incoterms, shipping bills, air waybills, delivery orders, and maritime transport workflows.
    • UAE VAT regulations, tax invoice criteria, zero-rated or exempted shipping rules, and quarterly tax file submission formats.
    • Microsoft Excel configurations, including financial functions, formula auditing, array navigation, and structured data layouts.
    • Enterprise ERP software applications and specialized logistics accounting software tools, database ledger systems, and automated balancing.
  • Outstanding written and spoken corporate communication talents, sharp analytical troubleshooting habits under tight month-end closing deadlines, absolute mathematical attention to alphanumeric values, and an exceptionally responsible workspace attitude under a unified corporate management framework.
