Job Description:
We are executing a strategic fiscal appointment within our central accounting division and are seeking an experienced, highly analytical Accountant (Joinery/Fit-Out Industry) to govern project-based financial pipelines and direct corporate ledger accounting pathways in Abu Dhabi. Built for visionary accounting specialists who possess deep operational history inside industrial contracting sectors and excel at structuring project profitability assessments, this full-time role focuses on accelerating closing report speeds, auditing vendor transaction lines, and maximizing budget variance analysis accuracy under our integrated corporate management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clear, accurate corporate financial records, balance sub-ledgers, and reconcile complex general ledger accounts.
- Prepare high-fidelity monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate financial statements with strict structural precision.
- Manage comprehensive project accounting operations, monitoring daily project-related expenditures and resource costs.
- Track and govern live project budgets across multiple high-end joinery and custom interior fit-out contracts simultaneously.
- Prepare analytical project cost reports, evaluate gross margins, and conduct meticulous budget variance analyses.
- Assist senior leadership with the configuration of corporate annual budgets, cash runway models, and financial forecasting sheets.
- Govern operational accounts payable runs and track incoming accounts receivable collections tracking metrics.
- Ensure uncompromised adherence to regional public accounting regulations, job costing frameworks, and internal corporate guidelines.
- Prepare, cross-verify, and submit statutory VAT returns and required corporate fiscal filings to regulatory bodies.
- Provide management with strategic data insights, project safety metrics, and specialized financial analysis statements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely matching accredited business management discipline.
- More than 5 years of verified professional accounting experience operating directly inside a construction, joinery manufacture, or interior fit-out environment is mandatory.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying cost control templates, ledger audit grids, and pivot functions inside enterprise accounting applications and Microsoft Excel.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following financial management sectors:
- Project cost-accounting, contract values, progress billings, and fit-out manufacturing financial routines.
- General ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis protocols.
- Accounts payable workflows, sub-contractor certification tracking, and accounts receivable aging cycles.
- UAE VAT regulations, statutory tax declarations, compliance tracking, and audit trail preparation.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities, strict attention to detail, exceptional numerical accuracy, and advanced problem-solving instincts.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication habits paired with the capability to cooperate with cross-functional project teams under strict timelines.
