Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Ras Al Khaimah. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage contracting-specific financial operations for management and performance review. You will be responsible for handling project-related invoicing, VAT return preparation, and processing bank guarantees. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Contracting Accounting and a proactive approach to financial reporting. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project-related invoicing and tax invoices to meet management and revenue targets.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team to manage visa expenses, end-of-service benefits (EOS), and monthly payroll accruals.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and prepare daily cash flow reports to ensure 100% data integrity in the Ras Al Khaimah office.
- Assist in VAT return preparation and ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and SAP FI systems to process Letters of Credit (LC) and bank guarantees.
- Support month-end closing activities including depreciation and audit documentation for internal and external reviews.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com or CFA qualifications are highly preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience specifically within the UAE contracting sector.
- Strong background in management of financial records, bank reconciliations, and supplier invoice processing.
- Professional background in education or training regarding SAP FI systems and UAE tax compliance.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence with high attention to detail and strong ethical standards.
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
