Job Description:

The Accountant will oversee daily bookkeeping, manage vendor payables and customer receivables, execute bank reconciliations, and handle VAT and Corporate Tax compliance under general financial management in Sharjah. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day general ledger accounting and retail bookkeeping operations.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers, vendor statements, and payments.
• Handle bank transactions, cash flow tracking, petty cash entries, and periodic bank reconciliations.
• Ensure complete compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax filings and documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing schedules, financial statements, and external audit preparations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal department leads regarding billing and financial inquiries.
• Prepare periodic financial performance reports for senior management review.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven accounting experience within the United Arab Emirates.
• In-depth practical knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax rules, and tax filing procedures.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and high numerical accuracy.
