Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Assistant Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain functions in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our operational strategy, requiring a leader who can effectively manage vendor relationships and negotiate high-value contracts. You will be responsible for overseeing procurement workflows, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards for management review. We are looking for a visionary professional with a strong background in ERP systems who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all procurement activities to ensure cost efficiency and high-standard supplier management.
- Lead vendor negotiations and contract administration to drive organizational sales of quality and value.
- Utilize advanced Information Technology and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to optimize purchasing processes.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company policies and UAE operational goals.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding team leadership and procurement staff training.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience in procurement, with at least 2–3 years in a senior role.
- Proven expertise in managing multi-disciplinary engineering and service-based procurement projects.
- Strong background in management of complex supply chain workflows and technical documentation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding international trade and contract law is a plus.
- Must currently be based in the UAE or willing to relocate immediately to Abu Dhabi.
