Job Description:
Highland AE is seeking a qualified Audit Semi Senior to join its expanding professional practice in Barsha Heights, Dubai. Working closely with Managers and Partners, the successful candidate will plan and execute audit assignments, perform risk assessments, review financial statements, and manage client engagements primarily focused on UK-based businesses, with long-term career relocation prospects to London.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments alongside Managers and Partners.
- Deliver high-quality audit services while maintaining excellent client relationships.
- Follow up on review comments and complete assigned tasks within agreed deadlines.
- Perform audit procedures and ensure financial statements comply with professional standards.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve audit-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout audit engagements.
🔹 Requirements:
- CA / ACCA qualified or holding an equivalent recognized professional accounting certification.
- Prior audit practice experience is preferred, with Big 4 firm experience being highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of audit procedures, risk assessment, financial reporting, and professional accounting standards.
- Strong technical skill in audit documentation, file review, and compliance procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to handle client relationships effectively in a fast-paced, international consulting setup.
