Job Description:
IATC Building Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join its technical design team in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this engineering drafting specialist will produce detailed shop drawings, prepare authority submission packages for Dubai Municipality and Trakhees, draft structural plans for steel mezzanines and warehouse offices, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure accurate drawings delivered within project timelines.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering, shop, and submission drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist with authority submission drawings and related documentation.
- Develop technical drawings for warehouse construction, steel mezzanine, and warehouse office projects.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance.
- Update and revise drawings based on project requirements.
- Complete assigned drafting tasks within project deadlines.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of practical AutoCAD drafting experience within the contracting sector.
- Proven track record preparing detailed shop drawings, structural layouts, and engineering designs.
- Hands-on knowledge of Dubai authority submission guidelines including Dubai Municipality and Trakhees standards.
- Technical proficiency drafting warehouse facilities, steel structures, and mezzanine office projects in the engineering domain.
- Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills to meet demanding project schedules.
