Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Draftsman specializing in roads and infrastructure projects to join our expanding team. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can prepare precise technical drawings for management and engineering review. You will be responsible for creating detailed roadwork designs, collaborating with surveyors, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and project specifications. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Infrastructure Drafting Standards and a proactive approach to maintaining design consistency and documentation accuracy. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate technical drawings for roadworks and infrastructure to meet management and project delivery targets.
- Support design integrity in Dubai and Sharjah, ensuring 100% data integrity in civil drawings, topographical updates, and technical documentation.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and project engineers to ensure all drafting outputs are aligned with project requirements and local standards.
- Review and verify all infrastructure drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and local UAE municipality regulations.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D to optimize drafting efficiency and professional engineering reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Degree or Certification in Drafting plus a relevant professional Civil 3D or AutoCAD Design Certificate.
- Proven professional experience specifically in drafting for roads and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in management of technical work precision, design consistency, and project documentation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding infrastructure drafting tools, UAE road regulations, and collaborative design.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, high attention to detail, and immediate availability while currently residing in the UAE.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard contracting firm across the UAE.
