Job Description:
We are inviting passionate and dedicated kitchen professionals to join our culinary team in Dubai as Commis Chef or Demi Chef. This role is fundamental to our kitchen framework, requiring individuals who are skilled in food preparation and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting in cooking menu items, maintaining high levels of hygiene, and supporting senior chefs for management review. We are looking for proactive team players with a solid understanding of food safety standards. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and cooking high-quality menu items according to established restaurant standards in Dubai.
- Maintain exceptional levels of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness for effective kitchen management.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding health certificates, kitchen training, and professional development.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth daily operations and menu execution.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools for inventory tracking, temperature logging, and kitchen scheduling.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or a relevant professional kitchen academic qualification.
- Proven professional experience in a high-pressure restaurant or café kitchen environment.
- Strong background in management of food preparation techniques, hygiene practices, and safety standards.
- Professional background in education or training regarding international culinary protocols and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a positive, proactive attitude within a diverse team in UAE.
- Commitment to delivering clinical-level cleanliness and gastronomic excellence.
