🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Control, log, and track inbound and outbound transmittals, RFI logs, and construction documentation changes seamlessly.
  • Ensure all technical files are properly coded, updated to the latest revision level, and made readily accessible to site teams.
  • Coordinate directly with project managers, structural engineers, independent consultants, and subcontractor units to facilitate document reviews.
  • Enforce absolute compliance with international project management metrics, municipal engineering standards, and regulatory documentation laws.
  • Monitor technical drawing variations and ensure rigorous revision numbering protocols are followed across all design levels.
  • Prepare structured document control logs, transmittal indexes, and information flow summaries for senior project leadership.
  • Maintain synchronized digital cloud indexes alongside immaculate physical file basements for sensitive corporate archives.
  • Support external governance audits and ensure that all engineering records remain continuously audit-ready.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of verified professional experience operating as a document controller directly inside the civil construction or heavy engineering sectors.
  • Prior structural experience working within the United Arab Emirates or wider GCC corporate project environments is highly preferred.
  • Deep technical understanding of professional document control platforms, tracking numbers, submittal workflows, and transmittal processes.
  • Advanced computer literacy with practical proficiency using document management systems, tracking software, and the MS Office suite (Word, Excel).
  • Meticulous attention to coding detail, high organizational habits, and exceptional time management capabilities to meet strict submission deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to confidently coordinate data flows across diverse technical teams.
  • Proven capacity to perform accurately and remain calm under pressure inside a fast-paced, target-driven site administrative environment.
  • Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent validation in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related structured field is preferred.
