Document Controller – Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi | Al Firas

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Manage and maintain the Asite document control system, ensuring all project users have appropriate access and training.
• Document Lifecycle: Oversee the receipt, tracking, and distribution of all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Submittal Coordination: Manage the technical submittal process (MAR, IR, MIR), tracking review cycles and ensuring timely responses from consultants.
• Quality Assurance: Audit documents for accuracy, naming conventions, and compliance with the project’s Document Management Plan.
• Site Liaison: Coordinate closely with on-site engineers and subcontractors to ensure the most current revisions of drawings are available for execution.
• Archiving: Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system to support easy retrieval and eventual project close-out.

🔹 Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with Asite document control management systems is mandatory.
• Sector Knowledge: Proven experience working within contracting and construction-related projects in the UAE.
• Process Understanding: Excellent grasp of on-site document control workflows, RFI tracking, and revision control.
• Location Commitment: Ability to work comfortably at the project site in Madinat Zayed (Al Dhafra region).
• Status: Only candidates currently residing in the UAE with immediate availability will be considered.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field (Business Administration, Engineering, or IT).
