Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Document Controller to join our project operations team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our project framework, requiring a professional who can efficiently manage the full lifecycle of project documentation according to the Document Control Plan (DCP). You will be responsible for reviewing, recording, and distributing technical drawings, submittals, and official correspondence for management review. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in digital platforms like Aconex or SharePoint who thrives in a fast-paced contracting environment. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of project documentation to support sales support and project execution timelines.
- Ensure proper document numbering, version tracking, and revision control for all technical drawings and reports.
- Upload and manage digital records through Information Technology platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, or Procore.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding administrative training and document access protocols.
- Prepare regular reports and maintain comprehensive logs for incoming and outgoing transmittals to ensure management transparency.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in document control specifically within the construction industry.
- Expertise in Aconex, SharePoint, or Procore and advanced Information Technology skills.
- Strong background in management of project archives, as-built documentation, and audit preparation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding document control standards and local authority regulations.
- Ability to coordinate closely with engineering teams and consultants to verify documentation accuracy.
