Company Overview:

Sabi Electromechanical Works LLC is a premier, highly successful building services contractor, elite engineering solutions corporation, and leading MEP network infrastructure group expanding its high-performance construction systems core in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Built upon world-class technical precision metrics, strict budgetary control standards, and progressive building information modeling systems, the organization executes complex integrated electromechanical installation portfolios, manages multi-tier technical trade projects, and ensures absolute alignment with regional municipal building safety guidelines, DEWA utility regulations, and international structural design benchmarks.

Job Description:

We are executing a strategic commercial appointment within our central pre-contracts division and are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Estimation Engineer (MEP) to govern complex tendering data pipelines and direct multi-system cost evaluation pathways in Dubai. Built for ambitious technical estimation specialists who possess deep operational command of quantity take-offs and excel at constructing highly competitive bid formulations, this full-time track focuses on accelerating tender response speeds, auditing procurement pricing databases, and maximizing overall commercial win rates under our integrated corporate management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive MEP cost estimates based on complex project drawings, tender specifications, and matching client design mandates.
  • Perform high-precision architectural quantity take-offs across extensive HVAC networks, main electrical grids, internal plumbing loops, and fire fighting systems.
  • Analyze multi-layered tender packages, evaluate contractual scope risks, and compile accurate commercial bid submissions.
  • Review overall technical project parameters and propose value engineering alternatives to maximize cost savings without losing infrastructure quality.
  • Coordinate closely with international equipment suppliers and regional subcontractors to obtain accurate, commercially optimized materials quotations.
  • Assist the business development core in drafting advanced technical proposals, project compliance matrices, and commercial breakdown charts.
  • Evaluate financial risk variations, project execution constraints, and material escalation rates to feed into the core budget tracking model.
  • Maintain securely indexed records of past estimation sheets, vendor pricing matrices, and tender submission data to support continuous auditing.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a closely matching fully accredited engineering trade discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5+ years of verified professional experience operating inside an active pre-contracts department or estimation desk, explicitly delivering accurate tender valuations for complex commercial, residential, or industrial MEP construction frameworks inside the GCC marketplace.
  • Advanced technical data literacy with extensive practical proficiency deploying computer-aided layout software, automated take-off routines, and intricate pricing sheets inside AutoCAD, specialized MEP estimation applications, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional domains:
    • Tender preparation mechanics, bid evaluation processes, and multi-tier sub-contractor validation.
    • Quantity surveying methodologies, comprehensive blue-print measurement, and architectural take-off standards.
    • HVAC system dynamics, low-voltage electrical structures, complex plumbing schematics, and fire suppression system codes.
    • Commercial risk management, cost planning procedures, and value engineering approaches.
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities, strict attention to mechanical blueprint detail, robust mathematical accuracy, and an ability to balance multiple tender timelines smoothly under rigid deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication habits paired with the personal confidence to negotiate material prices with tier-one suppliers and explain bid variances to project directors.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive baseline fixed salary package structured from AED 4,000 to 5,000, determined entirely by past engineering portfolio reviews, live take-off performance metrics, and technical pricing tests.
  • An elite opportunity to assume complete commercial ownership over a diverse MEP bid portfolio and grow your career with a rapidly expanding electromechanical brand.
  • Stable career advancement pipelines supported by major structural project wins and active internal growth lines for senior pre-contract managers, commercial directors, and corporate hr jobs or engineering talent planners.
