🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • OTA Financial Management: Perform complex reconciliations for payments and commissions from platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com.
  • System Integration: Maintain daily financial records using Hostaway (PMS) and QuickBooks, ensuring seamless data flow between guest bookings and accounting ledgers.
  • Revenue Accounting: Manage guest folios, security deposits, and refunds, ensuring accurate revenue recognition for each property.
  • VAT Compliance: Oversee the calculation and filing of UAE VAT returns specifically for hospitality and short-term rental services.
  • Owner Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements for property owners, including rental income distributions and expense deductions.
  • Statutory Compliance: Support internal and external audits by maintaining organized records and ensuring adherence to UAE financial regulations.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Mandatory Experience: Proven UAE-based experience in Holiday Homes, Short-Term Rentals, Hospitality, or Real Estate. (Profiles without this will not be considered).
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on working knowledge of Hostaway and QuickBooks is a strict requirement.
  • Platform Expertise: Practical experience in managing the financial back-ends of Booking.com and Airbnb.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of UAE VAT regulations and excellent bank/merchant reconciliation skills.
  • Attributes: High level of precision, ability to meet monthly closing deadlines, and strong analytical reporting capabilities.
