Job Description:
We are seeking a highly detailed, analytical, and organized Fit-out Draftsman to drive daily construction drawing development, shop front rendering variations, and technical specification tracking tracks at our DIP 2 facility. This active spatial design role demands absolute blueprint scaling control, precise material file documentation, and immediate structural revision resolution to guarantee construction fluidness for project management evaluation. It provides a brilliant path to leverage your advanced computer-aided drafting and geometric spatial education inside a fast-paced, highly collaborative corporate engineering hub.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare highly accurate 2D production layouts and 3D architectural details using advanced AutoCAD software systems.
- Develop detailed fit-out shop drawings, joinery details, and MEP alignment maps based on consultant specifications.
- Review, update, and modify existing design files according to contractor feedback and on-site measurement updates.
- Ensure all technical drafting complies with local municipal safety codes, civil defense rules, and corporate design manuals.
- Coordinate closely with internal site architects, civil engineers, and external suppliers to maintain drawing accuracy.
- Maintain structured, index-linked digital archives of project blueprints, revision numbers, and variations packages.
- Assist project procurement teams by delivering precise dimensional calculations, scale blocks, and schematic details.
- Monitor ongoing site engineering adjustments and update corresponding design tracking models immediately.
🔹 Requirements:
- Prior professional experience or deep training inside technical architectural drafting, CAD design, or commercial fit-out operations.
- Strong functional knowledge of AutoCAD software, dimensioning parameters, layering structures, and structural blocks.
- Excellent understanding of commercial interior fit-out standards, joinery detailing, and typical construction materials.
- Proven capability to translate concept sketches into precise construction drawings with deep attention to geometric details.
- Strong communication and collaborative alignment skills to work seamlessly across technical site groups and design teams.
- Practical background in education regarding scale conversions, structural tolerances, safety blueprint conventions, and project management deadlines.
- Candidates must be currently residing inside the United Arab Emirates to facilitate immediate technical deployment.
