Job Description:

A core financial position is open for a detail-oriented General Accountant to govern daily bookkeeping and construction ledger reconciliations. Based in Ajman, UAE, this role owns accountability over supplier disbursements, subcontractor ledger verification, bank balancing, and statutory record preservation to support structural project workflows.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post general journal entries accurately while ensuring proper structural documentation of all financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in an organized, timely manner suited to project timelines.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist senior stakeholders in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Maintain and update active company records utilizing automated accounting systems and specialized digital software tools.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, asset cost summaries, and balanced reports required by executive management.
• Ensure absolute adherence to corporate financial policies, operational procedures, and internal control standards.
• Coordinate with internal construction site departments to collect, audit, and verify field financial data.
• Support external audits and corporate financial reviews by preparing and providing required asset documentation and reports.

• Minimum 4 years of verified professional experience handling general accounting or project bookkeeping operations.
