Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced General Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage financial operations for management and project performance review. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statements, and utilizing industry-specific software for tracking. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Construction Accounting Principles and GCC Financial Procedures and a proactive approach to reconciliations, data analysis, and regulatory compliance. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations to meet management and internal control targets.
- Support fiscal integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to company policies.
- Utilize BuildSmart accounting software to optimize project financial tracking and professional organizational reporting.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and advanced MS Excel to perform deep data analysis and optimize professional financial accuracy.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus relevant Construction Accounting Credentials.
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience specifically within the GCC, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong background in management of accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and complex reconciliations.
- Professional background in education or training regarding BuildSmart software, accounting principles, and financial procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard firm in Dubai.
