General Accountant – Dubai, UAE | Speed Auto Systems

Job Description:

The General Accountant will manage daily financial operations, process AP/AR transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and support VAT and Corporate Tax compliance in close coordination with the finance department.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations regularly.
• Assist with monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
• Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on financial matters.
• Assist with audits and other finance-related functions.

🔹 Requirements:

• B.Com, M.Com, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• 1–2+ years of accounting experience (UAE accounting experience preferred).
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Strong English communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
