Job Description:
We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core technical delivery branch for an enterprise government project and are seeking a motivated, experienced Helpdesk & IT Support Specialist to govern first and second-level user support pipelines and direct infrastructure maintenance pathways in Dubai. Configured for systematic technical solutions builders who possess an exceptional command of hardware diagnostics and excel at executing system compliance protocols within highly regulated public frameworks, this full-time track focuses on accelerating incident resolution velocities, auditing user administration queues, and maximizing system uptime metrics across our integrated technology domains.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-performance first and second-level (L1/L2) helpdesk operations and technical desktop support loops to corporate end-users.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware diagnostics, core software installations, local network connectivity, and specialized user access configurations.
- Support business application software and coordinate seamlessly with external technical vendors to resolve complex software bugs or updates.
- Assist with general infrastructure operations, including server performance monitoring, active directory adjustments, and link health validations.
- Participate in hardware deployments, software version upgrades, system migration testing, and automated deployment improvements.
- Maintain meticulously organized IT operational documentation, logs, and evidence files to support strict regular audit and compliance activities.
- Deliver elite technical support services while continuously preserving exceptional customer service standards and short ticket waiting times.
- Reconcile daily incident ticketing logs, tracking device assignment files, software license registers, and asset tracking data tables systematically.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or specialized Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a matching technical discipline, establishing an advanced theoretical grasp of computer system architectures, data communications, and technical troubleshooting frameworks.
- Proven practical history operating an enterprise helpdesk, managing IT incident workflows, or directing desktop support lines within the UAE. Prior tenure supporting infrastructure within a government agency or heavily regulated public facility is highly preferred, coupled with immediate availability to join within a 30-day notice period or less.
- Advanced technical workspace data literacy with sharp capabilities tracking ticket closure statistics, organizing software asset lists, and cataloging device deployment logs inside Microsoft Excel databases.
- A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory to facilitate on-site technical support mobilization and infrastructure deployments across municipal project hubs.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
- Windows operating systems configurations, active directory user administration, and advanced IT helpdesk ticketing tools.
- Desktop support methodologies, perimeter network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN switches), and local printing services setup.
- Basic IT infrastructure rules, application server monitoring systems, backup verification pipelines, compliance protocols, and administrative documentation.
- Outstanding corporate communication, reporting, and interpersonal talents, sharp analytical problem-solving habits under compressed network downtime emergencies, absolute attention to device data detail, and a collaborative attitude under a unified corporate management framework.
