Job Description:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee day-to-day cleaning and facility maintenance operations, lead on-site staff, and enforce high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. Located in Dubai, this operational leader will conduct routine site inspections, monitor staff performance and attendance, manage inventory and maintenance requests, and maintain detailed operational logs while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities and monitor team performance.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall service quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and provide coaching to improve staff performance.
- Monitor attendance, housekeeping logs, inventory, and key control records.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely repairs.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Prepare reports, work orders, and documentation for events and daily operations.
- Monitor operational expenses and assist with budget control initiatives.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health, safety, and quality standards.
🔹 Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within hospitality, commercial facilities, or corporate environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Oracle systems is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and team management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and public holidays when required.
- Comprehensive understanding of housekeeping workflows, chemical handling, inventory control, and HSE regulations.
