Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can enforce health and safety regulations for management and site safety review. You will be responsible for implementing safety procedures across building and villa projects, ensuring all operations align with UAE standards. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Excavation and Electrical Safety and a proactive approach to promoting a strong safety culture. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce HSE policies across construction sites to meet management and safety compliance targets.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and site audits in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in safety inspections, incident investigations, and reporting.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and site engineers to deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness training to the workforce.
- Ensure strict compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and oversee the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and reporting systems to optimize safety documentation and coordinate safe working conditions.
🔹 Requirements:
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) plus a relevant professional Certificate or Degree in OHS.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience specifically in construction projects (buildings/villas) within the UAE.
- Strong background in management of working at height, excavation safety, and electrical safety protocols.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE HSE regulations and OSHAD frameworks.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong reporting skills, and a proactive mindset toward risk management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support safe construction operations in Abu Dhabi.
