Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled, proactive IT Officer to govern digital assets, secure server infrastructures, and support the clinical technology stack at our flagship facility in Dubai. Operating as the primary systems administrator within our technical services division, this full-time role focuses on maintaining multi-tier network architectures, coordinating cloud and local backup schedules, and ensuring the absolute uptime of medical applications under our integrated technology management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and systematically maintain multi-user IT systems, local area networks (LAN/WAN), physical servers, and corporate hardware infrastructure.
- Provide fast-response, comprehensive technical support to medical and administrative staff, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues efficiently.
- Enforce strict system security parameters, configure robust firewalls, direct automated data backup systems, and guarantee overall IT operational integrity.
- Administrate and support specialized clinical software applications, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and patient database networks.
- Liaise and coordinate with external technology vendors for localized IT services, hardware maintenance contracts, and critical system version upgrades.
- Assist in auditing, planning, and executing structured scale-up improvements across our local IT infrastructure and clinical data workflows.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technology discipline from an accredited university.
- Proven, successful professional experience operating within an IT support, desktop administration, or systems engineering role.
- Deep structural understanding of core networking protocols, active directory domains, operating system deployments, and modern hardware architectures.
- Prior professional background or solid operational exposure handling medical IT applications, HIPAA/DHA data compliances, or EMR system support is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical data parsing, system troubleshooting, and independent technical problem-solving capacities with a highly proactive operational instinct.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical steps smoothly to non-technical clinical personnel.
- Proven capacity to perform accurately under pressure and manage multi-point system tickets inside a sensitive, fast-moving healthcare landscape.
