Job Description:
Whitehats is seeking an experienced IT Support Field Engineer to join its technical team in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this field engineering specialist will provide on-site and remote technical support for Windows and macOS systems, manage Windows Server environments, administer cloud platforms including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, configure network hardware and firewalls, and maintain virtualization infrastructure.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for Windows and macOS users.
- Administer Windows Server environments and support IT infrastructure.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and VLAN networks.
- Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
- Perform backup management and disaster recovery tasks.
- Maintain firewall security, endpoint protection, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Handle IT ticketing, SLA management, and customer support requests.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT field support, network engineering, or system administration.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, and cloud systems within an IT enterprise setting.
- Solid background in network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Wi-Fi) and endpoint security solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, customer service, and ticketing management skills; UAE residency preferred.
