Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance Department in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can perform practical accounting tasks for management and IFRS compliance review. You will be responsible for transaction postings, various reconciliations, and supporting audit schedules. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in ERP Accounting Systems and Trade Finance Documentation and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate inventory and fixed asset records. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and ERP postings, to meet management and reporting targets.
- Support fiscal integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in bank, vendor, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and auditors to prepare audit schedules aligned with IFRS standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage trade finance activities, including Letters of Credit (LC) tracking, documentation, and rigorous follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules to ensure professional organizational stability.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and ERP systems to optimize sales invoicing and professional financial reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus relevant professional Part-qualification in ACCA, CMA, CA, or CPA is highly preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience specifically within an accounting role (construction sector experience is an advantage).
- Strong background in management of debits/credits, debit/credit notes, and insurance-related entries.
- Professional background in education or training regarding IFRS audit schedules, ERP accounting software, and trade finance protocols.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, high attention to detail, and the capability to perform multiple types of reconciliations accurately.
- Must be currently based in the UAE and willing to attend face-to-face interviews in Abu Dhabi.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard construction firm in Al Danah.
