Job Description:

We are executing a strategic professional recruitment drive on behalf of a top-tier corporate services client and are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to govern day-to-day bookkeeping pipelines and direct financial record workflows in Dubai. Configured for systematic numerical solution builders who possess an advanced operational command of automated accounting systems and excel at executing balance reconciliations within fast-moving client portfolios, this full-time track focuses on accelerating closing velocities, auditing transaction streams, and maximizing tax file compliance under our client’s unified corporate management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the senior Accounting Manager with the structured oversight of daily financial and corporate accounting operations.
  • Record, classify, and post financial transactions accurately into corporate ledgers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain clean, comprehensive accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records.
  • Perform detailed bank statement and multi-account reconciliations while resolving tracking discrepancies promptly.
  • Support general month-end closing activities, depreciation logging, and corporate financial reporting processes.
  • Maintain highly organized financial records, digital document archives, and verifiable transaction trails.
  • Ensure accurate, automated cloud bookkeeping entry and ledger matching using Zoho Books systems.
  • Assist with corporate VAT registration processing, quarterly tax filing, and official deregistration activities.
  • Support ongoing UAE Corporate Tax compliance tracking and documentation requirements when needed.
  • Prepare structured documentation folders required for scheduled internal and external corporate financial audits.
  • Coordinate efficiently with visiting auditors by providing verified financial ledgers and accounting sub-sheets.
  • Ensure absolute alignment with internal corporate policies, accepted accounting standards, and federal UAE regulations.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited higher education institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of verified, high-performance professional history handling cloud bookkeeping systems, managing company registers, or auditing cash ledgers, with preferred technical selection priority awarded to candidates holding established UAE market experience and active hands-on proficiency using Zoho Books platforms.
  • Advanced digital workspace data literacy with sharp capabilities structuring data tables, checking formula outputs, and sorting transaction records inside Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
    • Accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping practices, chart of accounts logic, and journal adjustments.
    • Zoho Books ERP systems and Microsoft Excel analytical tracking tools, data imports, and report filtering frameworks.
    • UAE VAT regulations, tax invoice rules, input tax recovery paths, and basic Corporate Tax principles.
    • Financial reporting procedures, balance sheet reconciliation mechanics, and general ledger audit preparation.
    • Records management practices, secure file compliance, document lifecycle tracking, and privacy standards.
  • Outstanding verbal and written business English communication talents, sharp structural troubleshooting habits under tight tax deadlines, strict attention to mathematical detail, and an exceptionally collaborative workspace attitude.
