Job Description:

A core financial opportunity is available for a motivated Junior Accountant to handle routine fiscal processing and corporate bookkeeping. Operating from Dubai, UAE, this role supports daily ledger balance adjustments, transaction tracking, compliance documentation, and bank balancing to ensure the general financial health of the business entity.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date bookkeeping records.
• Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable workflow processes.
• Perform accurate bank reconciliations and systematically review ledger entries for data integrity.
• Prepare client invoices, business receipts, and official payment vouchers as required.
• Assist the finance team in structured VAT documentation, filing, and local compliance-related activities.
• Maintain organized commercial files and ensure proper archival of all underlying transaction documents.
• Support the preparation of periodic financial reports, balance summaries, and status statements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect, verify, and streamline company financial data.

🔹 Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, with local UAE commercial experience highly preferred.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of bookkeeping rules, ledger tracking, and transactional balancing.
• Practical knowledge of standard accounting software tools and corporate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and corporate compliance procedures is an added advantage.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical reasoning, and data accuracy skills.
• Solid structural organization, time management, and collaborative team communication skills.
• Integrated understanding of modern data processing systems backed by corporate Information Technology assets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited academic education institution.
