Job Description:
We are currently hiring a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is perfectly suited for detail-oriented individuals and fresh graduates who are eager to launch their careers in a fast-paced trading environment. You will support our daily accounting and financial operations, ensuring that every transaction is recorded with precision. As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with senior finance professionals to manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting functions. We are looking for a proactive team player who possesses a strong grasp of accounting principles and the drive to contribute to our organization’s financial accuracy and long-term success.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and bookkeeping entries for daily trading activities.
- Record daily transactions including sales invoices, vendor payments, and general business expenses.
- Assist in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely settlement.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and update general ledger entries using modern accounting software.
- Support the senior management in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with internal company policies and IFRS standards.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding payroll documentation and employee expense processing.
- Liaise with the Information Technology team to maintain the integrity of financial data backups and system performance.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience; fresh graduates with strong academic records are highly encouraged to apply.
- Basic but solid understanding of UAE accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with ERP or accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multicultural team.
- Effective communication skills in English to interact with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
