Job Description:

The Accountant will assist with day-to-day financial operations, process daily transaction entries, and support ledger management. Operating within our active construction and engineering unit, this detail-oriented professional will handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank and vendor reconciliations, manage petty cash records, and prepare organized audit documentation.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and petty cash activities.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier account balances.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting records and documents.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance Department as needed.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
• Good understanding of foundational accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting software applications.
• Practical knowledge of bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately, meet operational deadlines, and handle confidential information professionally.
