Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Medical Underwriter to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to the organizational framework, requiring a professional who can evaluate insurance applications for management and risk review. You will be responsible for assessing eligibility, analyzing medical documentation, and ensuring all underwriting processes align with regulatory standards. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess medical insurance applications to meet management and risk eligibility targets.
- Support underwriting integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in medical records, underwriting decisions, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and internal teams to facilitate the smooth processing of insurance cases and risk evaluations.
- Ensure all underwriting activities comply with UAE insurance regulations while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and advanced Excel to optimize data analysis and professional underwriting reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance or Business Administration plus Relevant UAE Insurance Licenses/Certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience specifically within medical insurance underwriting in the UAE market.
- Strong background in management of underwriting policies, risk factor analysis, and medical record review.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE insurance regulations and analytical underwriting software.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a leading insurance organization in Abu Dhabi.
