Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the complete import operations of architectural materials into our Dubai base. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can oversee the entire import lifecycle for management and operational review. You will be responsible for coordinating with global suppliers across Europe, China, and the USA, ensuring smooth customs clearance and final delivery. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Incoterms, Dubai Trade, and Jebel Ali Operations and a proactive approach to cost optimization and landed expense tracking. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate orders and global shipments to meet management and supply chain performance targets.
- Support logistics integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in shipping documentation, customs declarations, and landed cost records.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient delivery of goods.
- Manage the full import lifecycle including order confirmation, production follow-up, shipment booking, and resolving shipment discrepancies or claims.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools, ERP systems, and Salesforce to optimize shipment tracking and professional logistics reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) plus a relevant professional Logistics or Supply Chain Certificate.
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience specifically within international logistics or import coordination in the UAE.
- Strong background in management of global imports (Europe, Far East, USA), Incoterms, and Letters of Credit.
- Professional background in education or training regarding Dubai Customs procedures, Jebel Ali operations, and the Dubai Trade portal.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong analytical skills, and the capability to optimize shipping methods (Air, Sea, LCL/FCL).
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support high-volume import operations in Dubai.
