Job Description:

The Material Coordinator will organize material specs, track raw material supplies, verify finishing samples, coordinate procurement schedules, and partner with production management teams to ensure seamless manufacturing project delivery.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate raw material allocations, fabrics, wood finishes, veneers, and hardware for bespoke furniture projects.
• Maintain structured registers of technical material specifications, design submittals, and client sample approvals.
• Work closely with procurement, factory production, and design teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
• Track material delivery schedules, monitor stock movement, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks or delays.
• Verify incoming project materials against approved design boards, quality standards, and technical specifications.
• Assist project managers in maintaining accurate inventory levels and preventing material wastage across factory lines.
• Liaise with external suppliers, timber merchants, and upholstery vendors to confirm lead times and pricing details.

🔹 Requirements:

• Background in furniture manufacturing, custom joinery, or interior fit-out environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of furniture materials, fabrics, wood veneers, metal finishes, and hardware fittings.
• Demonstrated expertise in material scheduling, stock tracking, sample coordination, and factory inventory support.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple project schedules.
• Proactive problem-solving approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and ERP or inventory management platforms.
