Job Description:

We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core technical design wing and are seeking an experienced, operationally authoritative Mechanical Engineer to govern building services pipelines and direct MEP system pathways in Dubai. Configured for systematic engineering solutions builders who possess an advanced analytical command of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection networks and excel at executing high-precision load calculations within fast-moving design cycles, this full-time track focuses on accelerating schematic development velocities, auditing contractor shop drawings, and maximizing structural safety metrics within our specialized engineering jobs platform.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive mechanical engineering designs, detailed calculations, and technical materials specifications for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Develop innovative mechanical design concepts and structured technical solutions tailored to specific project briefs.
• Produce and review high-precision mechanical drawings, plant layouts, equipment schedules, and technical engineering reports.
• Perform detailed thermodynamic load assessments, psychrometric calculations, and mechanical equipment sizing.
• Ensure absolute project compliance with local municipal authority regulations, Civil Defence codes, and international standards.
• Coordinate seamlessly with architectural, structural, electrical, and cross-functional engineering design disciplines.
• Participate actively in technical design coordination meetings and strategic engineering discussions with corporate clients and project stakeholders.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and specialized engineering method statements for accuracy.
• Provide continuous technical support throughout the design development lifecycle and practical building construction phases.
• Conduct thorough site inspections to verify that on-site installations comply fully with approved construction drawings.
• Monitor structural construction progress on-site and provide actionable technical recommendations to resolve field conflicts.
• Prepare detailed site observation reports, punch lists, and assist in closing complex technical design deviations.
• Ensure that high quality metrics and strict environmental health and safety standards are maintained during project execution.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited higher education institution. Professional engineering registration, Society of Engineers membership, or an active municipal certification is highly advantageous.
• A minimum of 3 to 8 years of verified, high-performance professional history operating within an engineering consultancy environment, designing complex building services, and coordinating large-scale property developments. Must be fully bilingual with absolute written and verbal fluency in both Arabic and English.
• Advanced technical data literacy with sharp capabilities generating complex load simulations, analyzing fluid dynamics data, and building detailed structural models inside AutoCAD and BIM software platforms (Revit MEP preferred).
• Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
  • HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection system design principles, load metrics, and hydraulic calculations.
  • AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and specialized mechanical design software including HAP, Carrier, Beta, and Psychometric Charts.
  • Engineering standards (ASHRAE, NFPA), local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA), and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.
  • Material submittal reviews, construction shop drawing validations, and structural method statement testing criteria.
  • On-site engineering inspection models, health and safety compliance metrics, and technical defect tracking workflows.
