Job Description:
American Hospital Dubai is seeking a qualified and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse to join its clinical team in Dubai. Based in Dubai, this dedicated nursing professional will provide comprehensive direct care to medical and surgical patients, perform clinical assessments, administer prescribed treatments and medications, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to maintain optimal patient outcomes.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and accurately document clinical observations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and recovery.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with Registered Nurse status in home country.
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience specifically within a Medical Surgical Ward.
- DHA License or DHA Eligibility is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical surgical nursing protocols, patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
- In-depth understanding of infection prevention, hospital safety standards, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-focused compassionate care skills.
