Job Description:

We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core global trade division and are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented NVOCC Pricing & Operations Executive to govern maritime cost structures and direct freight logistics pipelines in Dubai. Operating as an essential commercial liaison within our active operations center, this full-time role focuses on maximizing gross margins, accelerating quote turnaround times, and streamlining containerized movements under our unified network management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and provide highly accurate, competitive ocean freight quotations to corporate customers and global partner agents.
  • Negotiate competitive contract buying rates directly with core shipping lines, master co-loaders, and regional logistics vendors.
  • Maintain system tariffs continuously, conduct detailed multi-tier cost analysis, and systematically optimize profit margins per container.
  • Manage end-to-end multi-modal shipment processes for both international import and export distribution pipelines.
  • Handle booking placements, real-time container tracking milestones, and seamless delivery coordination with port hauliers.
  • Prepare, review, and audit vital shipping documentation including Ocean Bills of Lading (BL), commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs manifests.
  • Coordinate directly with local transporters, customs clearance authorities, warehousing groups, and overseas destination agents.
  • Monitor global vessel schedules, review transit time variations, and proactively resolve operational delays or cargo discrepancies.
  • Supply the frontline business development team with highly responsive, competitive pricing matrices to win corporate freight tenders.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or an equivalent commercial discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of successful, verified professional history operating as a pricing executive, freight coordinator, or operations officer strictly inside an active NVOCC or freight forwarding company.
  • Deep structural understanding of global ocean freight pricing dynamics, container space allocation workflows, and international Incoterms.
  • Proven practical knowledge governing import/export documentation streams, Bill of Lading clauses, and local port customs frameworks.
  • Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying complex pricing formulas, matrix calculations, and cargo logs inside Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated negotiation capacity paired with clear, professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Prior experience liaising with overseas networks and a solid understanding of UAE customs regulations, DP World portals, and local port operations.
