Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic OPD Head Nurse to lead outpatient clinical services and coordinate cross-functional medical nursing squads at our specialty hospital branch in Sharjah. Operating as a vital clinical asset manager, this full-time senior position focuses on supervising high-volume outpatient care paths, governing day-to-day triage workflows, and ensuring strict regional health ministry compliance under our unified healthcare operations management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily Outpatient Department (OPD) nursing operations, optimizing clinic allocations and medical triage workflows.
- Lead, guide, and mentor junior clinic nurses, technicians, and reception teams to ensure high-performance care standards and operational efficiency.
- Ensure total departmental compliance with corporate hospital policies, internal clinical protocols, and statutory Ministry of Health (MOH) healthcare regulations.
- Maintain high-quality patient care, proactive risk mitigation, and top-tier service delivery parameters across all outpatient consult rooms.
- Coordinate seamlessly with consultant physicians, administrative leads, and diagnostic departments to facilitate efficient patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Monitor, evaluate, and support quality assurance initiatives, infection control practices, and accurate medical documentation audits within the OPD.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent accredited Diploma in Nursing from a recognized medical institution is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional nursing experience, with a heavy, verified background operating inside active outpatient clinics or ambulatory care environments.
- Possession of a valid Ministry of Health (MOH) professional nursing license is highly preferred for this Sharjah-based vacancy; a transferable DHA license is also considered.
- Proven corporate leadership, unit administration, and team management capabilities to organize large nursing assemblies effectively.
- Deep fundamental knowledge of patient care criteria, specialized clinic equipment operations, diagnostic preparation, and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills paired with elite inter-departmental coordination, organizational, and conflict-resolution instincts.
- Candidates holding immediate professional availability to onboard within the Sharjah medical facility will be extended priority review.
