Operations Manager – Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi, UAE | Makamin Coffee Shop (F&B/Arabic Speaker Preferred)

About the Role:

Makamin has an urgent opening for an Operations Manager at our coffee shop in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a driven, hands-on leader who is passionate about coffee culture, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can inspire a small team to deliver outstanding service and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager will supervise and coordinate daily café operations to ensure efficient workflow. Responsibilities include creating and managing staff schedules, leading onboarding/training, maintaining consistent standards of service and quality control, and overseeing inventory management (stock monitoring and ordering). A core focus is developing initiatives to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily café operations to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer experiences.
• Create and manage staff schedules; lead onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain consistent standards of service, product presentation, and quality control.
• Oversee inventory management including stock monitoring, ordering, and liaison with suppliers.
• Develop and execute initiatives to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven background as a Supervisor or Operations Manager within a coffee shop or similar F&B outlet (preferred).
• Preferably native Arabic speaker.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; able to coach staff and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Ability to start immediately and handle a fast-moving environment.
