Job Description:

The Ophthalmic Nurse / OT Nurse will assist eye surgeons during surgical procedures, deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, maintain operating theatre sanitation, and coordinate under hospital management in Dubai.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmic surgeons in the operating theatre during various eye surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and deliver attentive post-operative recovery care.
• Sterilize, arrange, and manage specialized ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain strict compliance with healthcare infection control practices and OT safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and accurately maintain clinical nursing documentation.
• Provide clear post-care instructions and compassionate support to patients and families.

🔹 Requirements:

• Recognized Nursing Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with valid UAE licensure eligibility.
• Demonstrated experience in an Ophthalmic Operating Theatre (OT) or eye surgery environment.
• Strong clinical expertise in pre-operative preparation, intraoperative scrub/scout nursing, and recovery support.
• Thorough understanding of infection control guidelines and surgical environment sterilization standards.
• Excellent clinical judgment, patient-care skills, and clear communication capabilities.
