Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Operator to manage control room activities for a major industrial project in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can operate complex control panels and oversee DRI plant processes for management and production performance review. You will be responsible for interpreting P&IDs, responding to system alarms, and ensuring smooth, continuous production within a gas-based environment. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Tenova HYL Technology, Automation Systems, and Process Safety and a proactive approach to maintaining operational efficiency. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor control panels to meet management and continuous production standards.
- Support technical integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% precision in interpreting P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFDs.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and field technical teams to facilitate professional organizational reporting and efficient plant coordination.
- Supervise control room operations using advanced automation systems such as Siemens, Honeywell, or Yokogawa to identify and mitigate system abnormalities.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and DCS platforms to maintain accurate operational logs, records, and real-time process reports.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
- 3–5 years of professional experience specifically in DRI plant operations and control room activities.
- Strong background in management of automated control systems (Siemens, Honeywell, or Yokogawa).
- Professional background in education regarding Tenova HYL technology and gas-based DRI industrial processes.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, possess strong analytical skills, and manage high-pressure industrial situations in Abu Dhabi.
- Solid understanding of industrial process safety standards and operational protocols.
