Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Pricing Specialist with hands-on UAE freight experience to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage pricing strategies for management and competitive quotation review. You will be responsible for preparing freight quotes, coordinating with carriers and international agents, and ensuring profitable margin management. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Freight Market Trends and End-to-End Shipment Coordination and a proactive approach to building relationships with logistics partners. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide competitive freight quotations to meet management and client acquisition targets.
- Support operational integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in rate sheets, carrier service details, and shipment documentation.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, carriers, and co-loaders to obtain updated rates and maintain profitable margin structures.
- Manage end-to-end shipment coordination, providing timely communication and updates to clients throughout the logistics process.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and logistics software to optimize rate management and professional organizational reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business plus relevant Logistics Pricing Credentials.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience specifically within the UAE logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong background in management of rate negotiations, margin analysis, and international agent coordination.
- Professional background in education or training regarding freight pricing principles, market trends, and supply chain workflows.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard logistics firm in Dubai.
