Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Contracts Engineer to join our project team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our engineering framework, requiring a professional who can manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from material sourcing to subcontract negotiation. You will be responsible for preparing RFQs, evaluating supplier proposals, and handling variation orders for management review. We are looking for a detail-oriented Arabic national with a strong background in UAE construction standards and cost analysis. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of construction materials and subcontract packages efficiently in Abu Dhabi.
- Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals using comparative statements for management oversight.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding labor contract compliance and site staffing requirements.
- Prepare, review, and manage subcontract agreements and maintain accurate contractual correspondence.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to conduct cost analysis and track procurement decisions.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in construction procurement or contracts management within the UAE.
- Strong background in management of subcontracting processes and UAE construction standards.
- Professional background in education or training regarding cost engineering and contractual documentation.
- Must be an Arabic national currently residing in the UAE to be considered for this role.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills for a fast-paced, project-driven environment in Abu Dhabi.
