Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Procurement Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our project framework, requiring a professional who can efficiently manage sourcing activities and ensure the timely availability of materials and subcontract services. You will be responsible for preparing RFQs, analyzing competitive offers, and negotiating terms for management review. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement of construction materials and subcontract packages for active projects in Dubai.
- Prepare detailed Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and obtain competitive offers from local suppliers and subcontractors.
- Analyze quotations, prepare comprehensive comparison reports, and negotiate pricing and terms to support project management.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding procurement staffing needs and internal administrative coordination.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to maintain accurate procurement records and track material delivery schedules.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is strictly mandatory.
- 3 to 5 years of professional procurement experience within construction companies in the UAE.
- Strong background in management of supplier relationships and competitive negotiation processes.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE construction market trends and material standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern procurement documentation workflows.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with project site teams.
