Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Procurement Officer to drive daily supply chain operations, technical vendor selections, and inventory tracking tracks in Abu Dhabi. This active commercial role demands complete commercial data control, precise purchase order documentation, and rapid logistics concern resolution to guarantee project site efficiency for executive management evaluation. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for construction materials, specialized components, and subcontractor services.
- Source, audit, and evaluate raw material suppliers within the UAE civil and engineering materials market.
- Negotiate commercial pricing schedules, supplier agreements, and payment terms to guarantee cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed purchase orders, tracking lead times to ensure timely job site deliveries.
- Coordinate closely with civil engineers, MEP project heads, and field staff to analyze material specifications.
- Maintain highly structured digital procurement archives, material price sheets, and updated vendor registries.
- Monitor project inventory stock metrics and lead timely material replenishment tracks to avoid field delays.
- Ensure total compliance with internal inventory control policies and local UAE construction regulations.
🔹 Requirements:
- Possession of a formal Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant professional field is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of proven material procurement experience within the UAE construction industry is required.
- Direct functional knowledge handling procurement for MEP, civil engineering, or firefighting projects is mandatory.
- Strong commercial network and deep insight regarding UAE construction materials suppliers and market pricing.
- High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, formulas) and corporate ERP inventory systems.
- Excellent negotiation, contract review, and verbal/written corporate communication capabilities.
- Possession of a valid UAE Driving License is considered a highly valuable operational asset.
- Practical background in education regarding supply chain logistics, material verification codes, and quality risk management frameworks.
