Job Description:
We are executing a strategic operational appointment within our logistics division and are seeking an experienced, proactive Procurement Officer to govern end-to-end purchasing pipelines and direct material supply pathways on-site in Sharjah. Operating as a central sourcing anchor within our core commercial faculty, this full-time role focuses on accelerating project timelines, auditing material costing metrics, and maximizing supply chain sustainability under our integrated project management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring high-fidelity, timely purchasing of all required raw materials, tools, and contractor services.
- Identify, evaluate, and systematically onboard highly reliable, top-tier suppliers within the regional United Arab Emirates industrial market.
- Negotiate highly competitive pricing tiers, commercial credit terms, and service level contracts to achieve major cost efficiencies without compromising structural material quality.
- Prepare, audit, and process accurate corporate purchase orders while ensuring strict alignment with internal finance compliance rules.
- Track inbound material orders and shipping schedules thoroughly to ensure timely on-site receipt of critical construction goods.
- Maintain organized, compliant, and completely up-to-date procurement records, vendor ledgers, and inventory documentation.
- Monitor shifting market trends and active supplier performance metrics to systematically optimize long-term sourcing strategies.
- Build and protect exceptionally strong professional relationships with industrial vendors to support absolute business continuity.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related commercial discipline.
- A minimum of 4 years of solid, verified professional procurement experience operating directly within the United Arab Emirates market is strictly mandatory.
- Possession of an active, well-established, and broad supplier and vendor network within the UAE commercial and construction fields.
- A valid UAE driving license is strictly mandatory to facilitate urgent supplier visits and multi-site coordination.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying formulas, sourcing tables, and cost-benefit logs inside Microsoft Excel.
- Prior professional experience handling procurement for the construction, industrial engineering, or modular building sectors will be treated as a highly advantageous asset.
- Outstanding commercial negotiation skills, sharp analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and excellent multi-tasking capabilities.
