Quantity Surveyor – Dubai, UAE | JSI Contracting LLC

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation: Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ), comprehensive cost estimates, and detailed project budgets.
• Technical Take-offs: Conduct precise quantity take-offs utilizing professional software such as AutoCAD and PlanSwift.
• Contract Administration: Manage contracts, process variations, and handle commercial claims in accordance with FIDIC standards.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure strict compliance with approved budgets and identify potential cost overruns early.
• Commercial Advice: Provide expert cost advice to the project management team and handle negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Final Accounts: Prepare progress claims, valuation reports, and settle final accounts with all stakeholders.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• UAE Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience within the UAE construction market.
• Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in PlanSwift (for digital take-offs) and AutoCAD.
• Standards Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and POMI (Principles of Measurement International) standards.
• Commercial Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities to liaise with consultants and subcontractors.
• Leadership: Ability to lead cost-related meetings and provide strategic financial direction for projects.
